Application of Fortuna Sabbia Pronto

Apply with a brush.
Coverage rate
8–10 m²/l, which may vary depending on the substrate, color, method, and application conditions. To reduce consumption, the substrate must be even and primed.
Drying Time
2–4 hours at 20°C.
Allow the paint to dry completely between coats and after the final coat.
Thinning
Up to 5% water if necessary. The paint is ready to use and does not require thinning.
Step 1
Surface Preparation
Prepare the substrate thoroughly. Clean any dirt and sand if necessary.
For crumbly and porous surfaces, first apply Fortuna Nano Impregnator – primer/water diluted at a 1:5 ratio. It is essential for dust removal and surface strengthening.
Step 2
Surface Priming
Prime the pre-prepared sound substrate with Fortuna Wall Primer, another suitable primer, or white emulsion paint until an even white color is achieved.
Step 3
Base Coat Application
After priming, apply FORTUNA Zodiac or a color from the FORTUNA and PASTELO Tinting system catalogs, tinted to match or complement the chosen SABBIA PRONTO color.
Step 4
Effect Application
Once the colored paint is completely dry, apply a layer of Sabbia Pronto with a brush, spreading it in all directions for an even finish. Optionally, apply in one direction or create patterns.
Step 5
Finishing the Effect
Go over it once more with a dry or semi-dry brush to better define the final effect.
