The most basic characteristics of FORTUNA CLASSE 1 are that it has exceptional coverage, very good flowability, does not contain substances harmful to human health and provides a fresh, aesthetic appearance.

Fortuna Class 1 Application
Mix well. Start by painting around the edges of the walls with a small brush or small, foam roller, creating a border about 5 cm from the ceiling, corners and floor. Use a roller to paint larger areas of the walls, working in small sections and overlapping each roller pass slightly to avoid leaving streaks or roller marks.

It can be applied with a brush , roller or paint gun.
Consumption rate
15-17 m² /l, and may vary depending on the surface, color, method and conditions of application. To reduce consumption, the surface must be flat and primed.
Drying Time
2-4 hours at 20°C.
Allow the paint to dry completely between coats, as well as after the final coat.
Dilution
Up to 5% water if necessary. The paint is ready to use and does not need to be diluted.
Step 1
Preparing the Base
Prepare the surface very well. If necessary, clean and sand.
Step 2
Strengthening the Foundation
For friable and porous surfaces, first apply Fortuna nano impregnator – diluted in a ratio of 1:4 primer/water. It is very important for dust removal and strengthening the surface.
Step 3
Priming
Apply Fortuna wall primer to even out the color of the base and reduce consumption. For better results, you can mix Fortuna wall primer with some of the color you are going to apply.
Step 4
Application
Apply the first coat to the prepared surface at a temperature of 5°C to 25°C. Can be diluted with up to 5% water. If a second coat is required, apply after the previous coat has dried or 2-3 hours at 20°C. Rub well when applying.
If you used paper tape to edge the painted surface, be sure to remove it before the paint dries!
All FORTUNA paints and plasters are produced with a high content of acrylic dispersion and are extremely strong. Once dried, they form a dense and elastic film, which makes it difficult to peel off the tape and can lead to peeling of the paint.

Finally, applying a suitable primer will further improve the adhesion and durability of the paint.

Protective Varnish
For additional protection and effect after drying, we recommend applying a layer of fine transparent protective coating FORTUNA Protective varnish in one of its three varieties: Satin, Gloss or Matt.
A clear topcoat will further extend the life of your interior paint. It will provide an extra layer of protection, preventing the paint from cracking, fading or peeling. Protective coatings also make it easier to clean and maintain your walls, as they can be wiped down with a damp cloth without damaging the underlying paint layer.
