Applying Fortuna Marble

It is applied with a trowel .
Consumption rate
3-4 m² /l, which may vary depending on the substrate, color, method and conditions of application. To reduce consumption, the base must be flat and primed.
Drying Time
2-4 hours at 20°C.
Allow the paint to dry completely between coats, as well as after the final coat.
Dilution
Up to 5% water if necessary. The paint is ready to use and does not need to be diluted.

Preparing the Base
Prepare the base very well. If necessary, clean and sand.
For friable and porous surfaces, first apply Fortuna nano impregnator – diluted in a ratio of 1:5 primer/water. It is very important for dust removal and surface hardening.

Applying the Effect
Apply and level the first layer of FORTUNA Marble with a suitable stainless steel trowel. After the first layer has dried, apply a second layer in the same way.

To achieve a mirror marble effect, FORTUNA Wax for acrylic coatings is applied. The evenly spread layer of paste is waited for to dry completely. The surface is polished evenly with a polishing machine until a glossy effect is achieved.
